Hi, I’m Vimbai Vimbai Tsodzo (RD, LDN). I received my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Madonna University, then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nutrition with a focus on clinical nutrition and counseling from East Carolina University. I also pursued a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which was a coordinated program in Dietetics. My internship rotations were at a food bank organization called Bounty & Soul, the Durham County Health Department, and my clinical rotation was at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. I have a clinical nutrition background in working mainly in the field of long-term care, acute care, and rehabilitation facilities as well as in telehealth. I have also worked as a correctional dietitian at the state women’s prison in Raleigh, NC where my work combined community nutrition with outpatient and inpatient clinical nutrition. My nutrition counseling philosophy blends evidence-based nutrition with a compassionate, judgment-free approach that empowers my clients to make sustainable changes. As a dietitian with a public health lens, I consider the whole person to create a positive space that is both friendly and informative. In my free time, you can find me volunteering for various organizations in Raleigh, NC or enjoying the outdoors in the various parks and recreational areas around the city.
