Clinical Care Coordinator
Hi, I'm Rebecca Wong! I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Riverside. During college, I conducted research that examined a learning intervention to improve STEM persistence for undergraduate students. After graduating, I meaningfully operated as a crisis counselor at Crisis Text Line for more than a year. I also got involved at a pediatric palliative care center, where I still volunteer today to improve the quality of life for kids with serious medical conditions. These experiences have reaffirmed that I feel my best when I can support others through difficult times, and I’m passionate about taking an individualized approach towards connecting with members at Amae. In my free time, I can be found travel/junk journaling at a cafe, painting with watercolors, or having book club with my friends.
