Hi, I’m Melissa, a licensed social worker (LMSW) and graduate of the Silberman School of Social Work. I have a background working within the legal system, where I provided clinical assessments, counseling, and resource navigation tailored to individual needs. I specialize in supporting individuals facing challenges related to substance use, housing instability, trauma, and serious mental illness. My approach is trauma-focused, strengths-based, and relational—I believe each person is the expert of their own experience. I work collaboratively with clients to define their goals and take meaningful steps forward, always aiming to create a safe, supportive space for healing and growth. With a background in fine art, I also incorporate creative expression as a tool for healing when helpful. Outside of work, I enjoy drawing, running, and spending time in nature. My goal is to help each person I work with feel seen, supported, and empowered as they move toward their most authentic and confident self.
