Hi, I'm Marisa! I am a dedicated mental health professional (LCSW) with a passion for truly understanding people and helping them thrive. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Western Carolina University. Over the past six years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals in outpatient, inpatient, and community mental health settings, with a clinical focus on trauma and serious mental illness (SMI). I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. I believe healing begins with genuine connection, compassion, and creating a safe space where members can be themselves without judgment. My goal is to meet each person where they are, build trust, and help them recognize their own strengths as they work toward growth and stability. Outside of work, I enjoy running, traveling, hiking, and finding opportunities to recharge and stay connected to the things that bring balance and joy to my life.
