Hi, I’m John Stewart, MD, PhD. I completed my medical training and PhD at Loma Linda University, my general Psychiatry Residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and my fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at USC/LAGMC/CHLA. My unique combination of education and advanced training provides me with a developmentally informed systems-level lens through which to understand the origins and treatment of mental health conditions. I am grateful to have found a profession which provides an opportunity to witness people undergoing profound and positive transformation. I have a passion for my work and I have remained engaged with mental health advocacy at the high school, college, and university levels.
