Hi, I'm Jenya Wood-Freidin. I graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2025 with a B.A. in Psychology. Over the past 5 years, I have gained experience working with diverse populations across both the behavioral health and mental health settings. I previously worked in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) with neurodivergent children as a Registered Behavioral Technician, where I developed skills in behavior support, communication, and building meaningful relationships with clients and their families. This experience has strengthened my passion for supporting individuals through evidence-based care. I additionally have a background in crisis counseling through working with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline as a text/chat and phone line responder. In this role, I provided emotional support, crisis intervention, and resources to individuals experiencing mental health challenges and moments of emotional distress. I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and creating space where individuals can feel heard, supported, and capable of making meaningful changes in their lives. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, going for hikes in the bay area with friends, and spending time with my dog, Riley.
