Hi, I'm Ellie! I earned my B.S. in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Computing from UCLA, where I developed an interest in healthcare and mental health through my psychology coursework and research experiences. Before joining Amae Health, I supported children with autism as a Behavior Interventionist and cared for patients as an Ophthalmic Technician. I also volunteer with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, providing compassionate support to individuals experiencing emotional distress and mental health crises. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to creating a welcoming space where people feel heard, respected, and supported. I'm passionate about helping others navigate their mental health journeys with empathy and compassion. In the future, I hope to continue serving patients as a physician. Outside of work, I enjoy expressing myself through art and movement. I grew up performing with a youth cirque company and had the opportunity to perform around the world, including at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Those experiences continue to shape the creativity, resilience, and collaborative spirit I bring to my work.
