Hi, I’m Clarissa Hom, a Registered Dietitian with a passion for supporting individuals and families through personalized, compassionate nutrition care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition with a Minor in Psychology from UC Davis, and my Master of Public Health in Community Health Sciences from UCLA. I then completed my dietetic internship through the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. My clinical experience spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, where I have worked with diverse populations - including adults and children - across specialties such as bone marrow transplant, neonatal intensive care, and inborn errors of metabolism. As a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP), I have deepened my expertise in helping children and families navigate complex nutritional needs with empathy and evidence-based care. My interest in dietetics grew from a deep appreciation for how food connects people and shapes health outcomes. That perspective continues to guide my work today as I value collaboration and believe in meeting individuals where they are to support sustainable, long-term change. To make that possible, I strive to create a supportive space grounded in trust, empathy, and realistic, sustainable goals. Outside of work, I am a coffee and pastry lover who enjoys exploring new cafes and perfecting my latte art at home.
