Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I'm Chloe Kiester, a psychiatric and primary care nurse practitioner. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in English Literature, I took a nontraditional path into nursing that included volunteering as a patient advocate at UCSF and working as a phlebotomist and health worker in the San Francisco jails. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the Yale School of Nursing and completed additional training through the UC Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program. I have experience providing care in residential and outpatient settings, as well as working with underserved and at-risk populations. I'm passionate about harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and recovery.
