Hi, I’m Carmen Sepetka, MNA, AMFT. I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at the Amae. I hold master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Nonprofit Administration, a combination that reflects my dual interest in human connection and community impact. Before stepping into the world of therapy, I spent 15 years in the Bay Area’s nonprofit sector where I was lucky enough to work in conservation education and public engagement. My days were filled with caring for native wildlife and helping people reconnect with the natural world. This history informs my clinical work today and I am interested in exploring the intersection of nature exposure with therapeutic processes. My goal is to support individuals and communities in cultivating curiosity, self-awareness, and nurturing well-being.
