Hi, I’m Callie McGovern, LMHC. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from New York University and have spent the last five years working as an individual therapist with a focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My clinical approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and a person-centered framework. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to share their stories and explore their experiences. I’m deeply motivated by the connections I build with clients and the meaningful, often universal threads that emerge from each person’s unique journey. I have a strong appreciation for the healing power of animals, who effortlessly teach us how to remain present. I majored in Fine Art in college and continue to create in my free time. I am interested in the field of Art therapy and hope to one day further expand my therapeutic toolkit by pursuing training as an art therapist.
