Hi, I’m Arpita! I graduated from UCLA with a major in Psychobiology and a minor in Public Health. During my time there, I worked with a variety of vulnerable populations, including members of the neurodivergent community and students in underfunded middle and high schools, which deepened my understanding of how social factors shape access to care. More recently, I worked as a research assistant in a neurology clinic studying patients with Epilepsy, where I gained experience at the intersection of clinical care and research. These experiences shaped my goal of becoming a physician who advocates for underserved communities and supports individuals with complex health and mental health needs. Outside of work, I enjoy playing pickleball, trying new coffee shops/restaurants, and spending time with my dog, Cookie!
