Hi, I’m Aparna Dole, a New York–based, double board-certified psychiatrist with more than 15 years of experience treating adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. I earned my medical degree from the University of Mumbai and completed my psychiatry residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, followed by a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Cleveland Clinic. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings at institutions including Cleveland Clinic, HCA Healthcare, and NYU Langone Health. Most recently, I served as Unit Chief at a NewYork-Presbyterian–affiliated hospital in Manhattan and as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine. My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based medicine. I take the time to understand each patient’s unique experiences, goals, and needs and work with them to develop a personalized treatment plan focused on meaningful, lasting improvement. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, traveling, and exploring different cultures and cuisines.
