Hi, I’m Ana, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with more than 12 years of experience supporting individuals, children, and families across a variety of mental health settings. I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Queens College, City University of New York, and completed clinical training at FEGS Health & Human Services. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in community mental health, hospital-based outpatient care, and group practice, supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, and a range of other mental health challenges. My clinical approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and supportive therapy, allowing me to tailor treatment to each person’s individual needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and strive to create a supportive, person-centered environment where people feel heard, understood, and empowered. My hope is to help each person recognize their strengths and potential while developing the tools and confidence to move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
