"Hi, I’m Sruthi Ramabadran, the Clinical Care Coordinator at the San Mateo Clinic. I completed my B.S. in Psychology with minors in Digital Arts and Information Systems at the University of California, Irvine. While there, I conducted research on diet-tracking wearables and eating disorders, as well as conversational design to better understand children’s verbal behaviors and communication repair strategies. After graduating, I worked as a Product Designer at Workday for three years. Alongside that, I volunteered as a Support Group Facilitator with NAMI San Francisco, supporting Young Adult, BIPOC, and General Adult groups. Following my time at Workday, I transitioned into an intern role at NAMI San Francisco, where I focused on improving peer support group programs and creating opportunities to support immigrant populations. My specialty is in peer support, and I’m passionate about emphasizing the role of community in mental health care. I’m especially committed to ensuring that care is accessible to people of all backgrounds, particularly underprivileged populations who may face barriers to treatment. Outside of work, I love making jewelry, trying new foods, and going on long walks with my dog, Snowball."
