Clinical Care Coordinator
Hi, I'm Shefali Gupta. I graduated from UC San Diego in 2025 with a B.S. in Neurobiology. During my time at UCSD, I split my time between community based work and research. This included co-leading the Health and Anti-Recidivism Project, a student organization that focused on aiding communities affected by incarceration and houselessness. I later interned at the Women's Center on campus, creating and facilitating groups to create meaningful discourse and support within our campus-wide community. In addition, I also worked as an undergraduate research assistant at a neurobiology lab, researching depression and demotivation in larval zebrafish. I am deeply passionate about a community-centered approach to care, by building trusting relationships with our members here at Amae. In my free time, I love to read, sew, and bake.
