"Hi, I’m Maham. I began my studies in Psychology at Johns Hopkins University and completed my B.S. in Psychology at Towson University, where I developed a strong interest in supporting individuals through periods of uncertainty and change. Before joining Amae Health, I worked at Sheppard Pratt, located in Maryland where I provided daily support to individuals living with serious mental illness, and later contributed to clinical research focused on ADHD. These experiences strengthened my commitment to ethical, person-centered, and evidence-informed care. I’m dedicated to creating a supportive space where individuals feel respected, heard, and understood. My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and the belief that meaningful progress often begins with small, steady steps. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, and exploring new restaurants. I value time with loved ones and staying connected to the communities that keep me grounded."
