Hi, I’m Collin Wang. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with my bachelor’s degree in psychology. My experience lies at the crossroads of mental health, addiction neuroscience, and cultural anthropology. From one-on-one mentorship in West Philadelphia public schools to harm reduction outreach in the city, I find meaning in supporting those who don’t always receive the care they deserve. For four years, I facilitated discussion groups within my school’s LGBTQ+ AAPI community, creating space for trauma-informed conversations and connecting peers to identity-affirming mental health resources. I’m committed to wraparound, whole-person care and to supporting individuals at the intersections of mental and sociocultural diversity. I’ve also conducted quantitative research on anxiety, depression, and novel treatments for substance use disorders. I believe in a data-driven, people-facing approach that acknowledges the challenges of serious mental illness while honoring the beauty, strength, and unique sense of humor in every individual. Outside of work, I continue to enjoy human connection—I love reading memoirs, sketching strangers in cafés, and spending time with friends and family.
